Choosing your walls
Series 1, Security is a group project, is about seeing the problem: what a good decision needs, who holds the answers, and why now. This series is about solving it, and the answer depends on a decision each organization has to make first: how far it is willing to go with sharing.
One part for each path, from the least change to the most:
- Smarter in your space. The walls and handoffs stay. What each team can still do inside its own area, and how far that gets you.
- The one-way mirror. Security sees in early, and keeps its independence. What has to be shared, and how.
- Doors in the walls. A shared goal and charter, and a conversation the whole way through. What it takes, what it costs, and why I think it's worth it.
- Where agents fit. The best way to carry out whichever path you pick, and how to earn the trust to hand them more.
